Week 7 PHO703 Landings

I’ve volunteered to be part of the landings curating team,responsible primarily for the Landings Exhibition book.We’ve had some early meetings and it’s all very exciting.

Alongside this I need to produce course work,my own entry and carry on with my module project.With that in mind I have designed a fanzine to go with the first part of this project exploring football stadiums,the project is called Athletico Lockdown. I’ll be getting copies printed in the coming week.

Moving on from that as the project progresses through the estate pubs to the Working mens clubs I have meetings on Friday with two local to me who have taken a progressive approach to keeping them financially viable and relevant to today.

Brilliant lecture with Karen McQuaid at the photographers gallery here in London,whilst i’ve been aware and been to many shows since th 1990s i’ve never really participated.Some of the talks and workshops are definitely on the list.I also really like the fact that emerging artists to them does not mean under 30 !
