I tend to work digitally when editing images these days but have often in the past used this method of small prints for folios books and exhibition ideas.It was quite refreshing to shuffle paper around. Below is many but not all of the images,you can see how the initial project as started to evolve into another one.I’m planning a fanzine influenced by football match day programmes in design,hence the local ads,which may (or may not) run alongside the images to help reinforce the programme idea.
The album Sell Out by The Who as been an influence on this decision,I like the POP art notion of taking something mundane and everyday and making it art.They recorded the album and interspersed each track with made up radio jingles and adverts,the album cover reflects the idea brilliantly.
